Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes

Yep, Zipingo is changing. Yesterday the blog. Later today, the forums. Tomorrow the help area. Soon the whole site will look and feel different, not to mention the major functional improvements you'll notice right away.

Let's start by talking about the blog. Well, to tell you the truth, the changes we made here are purely cosmetic to match the forthcoming site. That's so you don't have a total visual disconnect when you move from one to the other.

And the forums? Same thing. Can't have the old shades, you know.

But the help area? That was a big change. As a short recap, read my notes here. Then check back later this week to test out the new area. It'll be less confusing and much quicker for you to Find an Answer, Ask a Question, and Send Us Feedback.

Now, the bigger Zipingo site? WHOOEE! I've been sitting in on team meetings for the past several months, listening to the nitty-gritty ins-and-outs of it all. I can't believe all the stuff an engineer has to keep track of.

I've just got to applaud the Zipingo Team for all the blood, sweat and tears -- especially behind the scenes, in the guts of Zipingo -- done to renovate the site. Once Zipingo is relaunched, you'll find that it will be much more fun to use. And we stuck in a few special surprises, based on user feedback...oh, I don't want to spoil it. You'll just have to stay tuned.
