One of the nice things about the Internet is the ability to assume a new personality when you use different Web sites. In the case of Zipingo, you can choose whatever you like (within reason) for a screen name. But what if you decided the one you chose didn't fit you? Now whatcha gonna do?
Customer Care now has access to an Admin Tool, which can be used to edit user records and change screen names. That means, we don't have to put our users "on hold" while they wait for Screen Name Change Requests to be completed.
When a user asks to change a screen name, it could be for lots of reasons. Maybe it's because he didn't realize that his screen name would be seen next to his reviews. Maybe it's because she just had a change of heart and now wants to assume a new "ratings" identity. There's even the case of "Reviewer's Remorse" -- you wish you had worded a few reviews differently. In any case, we can usually get these user ID change requests done in the same business day…provided nothing more urgent is in the customer care queue.
So, if you want or need to change your screen name, just submit a question in the Zipingo Help & Feedback area. Be sure to tell us:
