The individuals who post here work at Intuit and are some of the best and brightest. The opinions expressed here, while probably right and certainly smart, are their own, and are not necessarily reviewed in advance by anyone but the individual author. Sometimes, the author is audacious and decides to post an opinion without a buddy reviewing it, and at other times, he or she may seek counsel of a friend. Regardless, these opinions do not necessarily reflect the view of Intuit or any other person or company. Although, since these people are smart to begin with, Intuit might agree with them - or might not.
Hi, well I guess you should be saying that to me. I’m the new Zipingo intern. I started last week and I will be hanging around until the beginning of August. I am currently a senior at a fantastic university in the state of Missouri, and I am just in Mountain View for the summer.
Since I started blogging for Zipingo back in July, I've been checking out other company blogs. It's been a learning experience for sure. I've seen a myriad of styles and content.
I haven't written since December, so a Happy New Year to you all! And because it's a new year, I thought I'd share my overall reflections on last year and what is coming ahead this year.
First, I'll share my reflections on 2005 with respect to Zipingo.
User feedback is very important. It helps give the Zipingo team plenty of perspective about our product that sometimes we miss from our lavish offices (well, cozy little combined space) in San Diego.
Hello. My name is Karen and I've just joined the Zipingo team. I'd love to share with you why I'm so glad to have joined the team and why I really believe in the power of this tool.

My house circa 1960’s with all the pre-space age technology that goes with it. One thing it did have was 100 amp service. Sounds like a good amount, but once you throw a hot tub, a few computers, a dryer, fridge and a plasma TV you are living on borrowed time. As part of converting a downstairs rec/storage room into a home office, I decided I certainly needed more power. It was time to upgrade to 200 amp service.
Well, it took me 4 months, but here I am! I'm excited to blog for the first time about Zipingo. And, I intend to do so regularly going forward. I'll use this first opportunity to introduce myself and give a little info on the birth of Zipingo.
So I'm walking around one of the Intuit buildings in Tucson this week when I overhear one employee comment to another in the Oasis (break room) about a new goodie for employees.
During one of my post high school jobs, I wore a dorky uniform with an ugly hat. At lunchtime, I'd take a break in another store at the mall, still sporting my employer's garb. It always amazed me how people would mistake me for another store's employee.
